3.1 Unpacking / Disposing of packaging

Danger of suffocation
The transparent plastic film poses a risk of suffocation to children:
• Keep the packaging away from children.
The appliance comes packed in two pieces of moulded polystyrene foam.
First of all check that all parts are included and undamaged:
• upper part of Climazon ,

• 4 spare protection filters,
• Climazon Operating Instructions.

pedestal base h, pedestal tube i and wall arm k do not form part of the
Climazon and must be ordered separately.

If the consignment has been damaged in transit, please contact Technical Cus-
tomer Service. We recommend that you retain the packaging during the guarantee
period in case the appliance needs to be returned. If you would like to dispose of
the packaging, please ask at your local waste disposal site.

3.2 Installation

Pedestal version
Assemble the pedestal as described in the installation instructions for the
pedestal base h type ST5 and the pedestal tube i type ST5.
Then mount the appliance on the pedestal tube i.
The appliance may not be used with the old Wella pedestal type ST3 under any
circumstances. The appliance may fall off the pedestal type ST3 during use and
injure the customer being treated.
Wall-mounted version
The wall-mounted version requires correct electrical installation and secure fixing
to the wall. This version should therefore only be mounted by a specialist (electri-
cian, technical expert) or staff with a comparable qualification according to the
valid installation and operating instructions.
Sudden release of spring arm (only wall-mounted version)
• The spring arm of the wall-mounted version contains a powerful
spring. When the appliance is dismantled, the spring arm is
suddenly released upwards and may cause serious injury.
• The appliance may only be mounted / dismantled by a specialist
(electrician, technical expert) or staff with a comparable qualifica-
tion according to the valid instructions.
