6.7 <Manual Start> – Selecting treatment programme and
starting
The appliance is equipped with default treatment programmes (see "section 5"
page 60), which can be selected using the functional button d.
The settings for the particular treatment programme can easily be changed with
the function buttons d, by following the menu (see "section 6.9" page 68).
1. Press the functional button d next to the treatment programme you want
e.g. <Coloring>.

The display f shows the sub-programmes <Color> <Temporary Color>
<Vegetable Color> <Lightening Color>.
2. Press the functional button d next to the sub-programme you want e.g.
<Color>.
➥ The display f shows the treatment defaults.
Changing current programme settings before treatment:
See "section 6.9" page 68 for possible settings.
3. Press one of the two function buttons d next to <Start>.
➥ The selected treatment programme begins.
➥ The display f shows the default treatment time.
➥ The pilot lamps c light up.
Changing programme settings during treatment:
The current programme settings can be changed during treatment.
Press the function buttons d beside the word <Change>.
See "section 6.9" page 68 for possible settings.
Changing appliance and programme defaults:
If no treatment is under way, the appliance settings and default treatment pro-
grammes can be changed using the SETTING button g, so that they become the
defaults the next time a treatment is selected (see "section 7" page 72).
Cancelling treatment programme:
You can exit a selected treatment programme and/or cancel an ongoing treatment
by pressing the CLEAR button e.
Only with programme default <Clear: confirm> (see "section 7.1.5" page 74):
1. Confirm the prompt: <Would you like to cancel the treatment?> with <Yes>.
➥ The programme that is running is cancelled.
