Invacare recommends using the XPO
4 ft (1.2 m) cannula. The tubing must be connected to the
XPO
concentrator oxygen outlet as shown below.

Replace the nasal cannula on a regular basis. Check with
your equipment provider or physician to determine how
often the cannula should be replaced.

Connect the nasal cannula to the XPO
outlet port A (Detail "A").

Place the cannula B over your ears and position the prongs in
your nose as instructed by your health care provider or cannula
manufacturer (Detail "B").

Turn the XPO
concentrator On by pressing the On/Off button.

Breathe normally through your nose. Breathing through your
mouth may result in less effective oxygen therapy. The XPO
concentrator will put out a measured pulse of oxygen each
time it detects inhalation. The blue flow setting indicator light
will blink each time an inhalation is detected and the XPO
concentrator outputs a pulse of oxygen.

Turn the XPO
concentrator Off by pressing and holding the

power On/Off button for approximately two seconds.
The time required for the XPO
maximum oxygen concentration after being turned On is
approximately 30 minutes.
