The parameters of the starting time ramp are pre-adjusted and cannot be modified.
This welding equipment is fitted with protection devices which allow the general state of the equipment to be
checked. As a consequence any type of anomaly will be shown on the screen.
In these models the error indicator will light up if an electrical current problem occurs (low or high tension) and if
overheating occurs.
The indicator will remain lit up while the problem remains.
These models have both the error indicator and an error code which displays the problem type on the screen.
Stop due to overheating
If the maximum temperature for continuous work increases and the equipment reaches temperatures which
may be harmful for components, the equipment will stop, indicating an overheating problem, displayed on the
screen by
.
Wait until the machine recovers correct working temperature, and the problem will disappear.
Problem in electrical supply
The equipment monitors the electrical mains current to which it is connected, if this is not within the correct
operating parameters a problem will occur which will be shown on the screen as
If this type of error appears the mains electrical current supply to the equipment should be checked. This type
of problem may also occur through the use of extension cables which are too long, or due to insufficient gauge.
If the equipment is connected to a generator, the generator must be checked to ensure that it fulfils
recommended specifications and that the electrical current from the generator is correctly adjusted.
If a problem occurs which may be dangerous to people, the equipment and/or the environment the equipment
must be disconnected immediately. Ensure that the equipment cannot be connected until the breakdown has
been repaired.
Breakdowns should only be repaired by qualified personnel, bearing in mind the safety indications of the
equipment.
The front panel does not work, no indicator lights up and no indicator appears on the screen.
CAUSE
No electrical current
Defective cables or plugs
Possible surge in electrical current
The problem indicator is lit up and Er appears on the screen.
CAUSE
The equipment is overheating
The electrical supply is not correct
The arc does not ignite with electrode welding.
