Insert the Lavazza BLUE capsule in the corre-

sponding opening and fully lower the capsule
loading arm.
An acoustic signal and the switching off of the red
indicator light will indicate that the arm is correctly
closed. If the arm is lowered without inserting the
capsule, three acoustic signals will be emitted upon
one of the brewing buttons being pressed.
Make sure that the machine is ready to brew:
brewing buttons lit with fi xed light.
Press the free dose brewing button to start the

brewing. When reached the desired quantity of
coff ee brewed, press again the button to fi nish
brewing.
During the coff ee brewing, the selected button is lit
in fl ashing mode. After brewing, the same button
stays illuminated, fi rst in fl ash mode, and then in
fi xed mode, to indicate the machine is again ready
for use.
COFFEE DOSE PROGRAMMING
The dose programming must always be done us-
ing the same button; any use of another button
will be ignored. The programmed quantity of coff ee
brewed can be modifi ed repeating the program-
ming. If a dose inferior to the minimum is set, the
machine still memorizes the minimum brewing
quantity.

Execute steps 1, 2 of the section FREE-DOSE
COFFEE BREWING.
Press one of the two coff ee brewing buttons,
maintain pressed for at least 3 seconds. The se-
lected button fl ashes and the machine will emit
three tones to indicate that the programming
has started. At that point release the button.
The machine emits a tone at regular intervals
while brewing. Once the desired amount of cof-
fee is reached, stop the brewing by pressing the
same button again. The machine emits three
tones to indicate the successful programming.
If the programming is not completed in a maxi-
mum time of 1'50'' the machine automatically
stops brewing, the brewing button fl ashes, and
the dose of the last programming value remains in
the memory. If power is lost during the program-
ming, the last programming value remains in the
memory.
PRESET DOSE COFFEE BREWING
Execute the steps 1, 2 of the section FREE-
DOSE COFFEE BREWING.
Press one of the two coff ee brewing buttons (if
programmed). The machine fi nishes brewing au-
tomatically once the programmed coff ee dose is
reached.
If anomalies are noticed during the brewing of a
coff ee with preset dose, the machine continues
brewing in free dose mode. Brewing can be stopped
by pressing the button a second time.
Before commencing cleaning operations,
always make sure that the power cord is not
connected, and wait for the machine to cool.
