Safety instructions
• The machine may only be openend by trained specialists - even
during repairs. The machine is to be unplugged from the mains befo-
re opening. Live parts inside the machine may still be live for some
time after unplugging from the mains.
Make certain that the mill drive stands firmly on a table.
• The mill is to be operated only under the supversion of an authorized
operator.
• The mill is to be switched off completely using the rocker switch (Pos.
A13) before opening the door.
• Excess pressure develops with closed collecting vessels, in particu-

lar when using dry ice or liquid nitrogen. This can lead to ground mate-
rial escaping upwards out of the funnel.
• Operating personnel must wear protective personal equipment

during the grinding procedure as fragments from the material to be
ground may escape.

• Feeding stock residue that remain in the funnel may not be manual-

ly removed during operation or with unsuitable tools e.g. screwdrivers.

They should only be removed with suitable cleaning tools when the

device is switched off.

• Fingers and/or other articles should not be placed into the discharge

cone (Pos. P1/S1) in order to clean it during operation.

Cleaning is only permitted when the device is switched off and the

power supply plug has been disconnected.

Note:
After longer grinding cycles the grinding chamber and the

crushing tools may be hot. Let the mill cool off before cleaning or per-

forming any repair work.

Exercise extreme caution when assembling, disassemb-

ling or cleaning the cutting-grinding head, particulary with regard to the

sharp blade edges on the rotor (Pos. S20). These parts are to be hand-

led with extreme care.

Wear protective personal equipment.
Unpacking
Please unpack the device carefully and check it for damage. It is impor-
tant that any transport damage is detected when the device is unpacked.
If necessary, an inventory of the damage should be made immediately
(postal service, railway, haulage company).
The delivery quantity for the drive includes: an MF10 drive unit, a collec-
ting pan, a mains cable, a feather key, an Allen wrench, a fork wrench
and an operator's manual.
The delivery quantity for the impact grinding head includes: an impact
grinding surface with built-on door and three screwed-in fastening pins,
a dosing sluice, a hammer rotor, a countersunk screw, a disk, a cover and
