EMERGENCY OPERATION

Midland Remanufactured (Horton Style) Fan Clutches are designed to
permit continued operation in the event of a Fan Clutch air source or
Electrical Control System malfunction.
In the event of a malfunction:
A. Align two holes in Piston Friction Disc with two holes in
Sheave.
B. Install grade 8 socket head cap screws (supplied with kit)
and tighten to 25 ft. lbs. [33.9 N/m] (See Fig. 12)

The above procedure is only a temporary solution, the
problem must be corrected as soon as possible.
