Inflammable mixtures of gas and air may
explode.
Do not use or store explosive or easily flamma-
ble substances such as petrol or paint in the
same room as the appliance.
Danger!
Carbon monoxide poisoning.
Never put the flue gas sensor out of operation.
Otherwise, in unfavourable conditions in the
chimney over a long period, flue gases may flow
back into the room where the appliance is fit-

Never put the safety devices out of operation or
tamper with them so as to impair their func-

– Never seal vents in doors, ceilings, windows and walls,
not even temporarily. Never cover vents with clothing
or similar items. When laying flooring, never seal or
partially close vents on the bottoms of doors.
– Never impair the free flow of air to the appliance. Take
special note of this when putting up cupboards,
shelves or similar furnishings below the appliance.
Enclosing the appliance in a cabinet requires observ-
ance of special design instructions. Ask your specialist
fitter if you want to enclose the appliance in this way.
– Keep all openings for air and flue gas free. Make sure,
for example, that any temporary covers used when
performing work are removed.
– Do not install the appliance in rooms where ventilation
or hot air systems extract air using fans (e.g. extractor
fans and clothes dryers) unless safety devices are used
which switch off the fans automatically when the gas
instantaneous water heater is in use. For cases like
this, we recommend our Solomatik accessory for MAG
(item no. 304821) (for all countries and Performance
Range chimney devices).
– When installing draughtproof windows consult the sup-
plier to make sure that the appliance will continue to
receive sufficient airflow for combustion.
For alterations to the appliance or to its environment,
you must refer to the approved expert company which is
responsible for it.

Under no circumstances should you ever
attempt to make alterations to the gas instan-
