the performance.
• Turn the power switch (6) anticlockwise
increase the performance.
4.5.2 Regulation
In the range between the preselected performance and
the minimum possible appliance performance (around
40%), the quantity of gas is automatically, continuously
adjusted to the water flow volume (in other words, the
actual amount drawn off at the taps), thus keeping the
exit temperature constant.
The second stage is to regulates the volume of cold tap
water flowing through the appliance using the tempera-
ture selector. The greater the water volume, the lower
the exit temperature, see section 4.4.2 on setting the
water temperature.

Troubleshooting
As the user, you may only attempt to rectify the follow-
ing problems. If problems arise other than the ones list-
ed here, you must notify your heating engineer.
There is a malfunction when the gas instantaneous
water heater does not generate hot water.
• Look through the sight hole to see if the pilot flame is
still burning.
• If the pilot flame has gone out, put the appliance in
standby mode, see 4.3.2.
Especially on initial start-up and after longer periods out
of use, you may need several attempts to put the heater
in standby mode.
If the malfunction recurs, have an engineer come to
inspect the appliance.

Caution!
Inappropriate alterations can cause damage.
Under no circumstances should you ever attempt
to make alterations to the gas instantaneous
water heater or other parts of the system.
Never try to carry out maintenance work or
repairs on the appliance yourself.
Only use the gas instantaneous water heater again once
the malfunction has been rectified by an engineer.
Danger!
Carbon monoxide poisoning.
Never, under any circumstance, put the flue gas
sensor out of operation or tamper with it so as
to impair its function. Otherwise, in unfavoura-
ble conditions in the chimney over a long peri-
to reduce
od, flue gases may flow back into the room
where the appliance is fitted.
