19. If the lancet does not drop
out press and hold the
plunger down.
20. Hook the edge of the white
"collar" of the cap behind the
platform of the lancet. A cut-
out area on the inside of the
lancet holder makes it easy
to hook the lancet platform
(see illustration).
21. Use the white collar to pull
the lancet out.
22. Wash hands thoroughly with
soap and water.
