(1) Preparation for adjustment of the needle-to-hook relation
1) Turn the stitch dial clockwise until it will go no further.
2) Turn the handwheel to lower the needle bar to the lowest point. Then, loosen needle bar connecting stud clamping
screw 1 .
(2) Height of the needle bar
The standard height of the needle bar is obtained by adjusting, when the needle bar ascends 2.0 mm from the lowest
point of its stroke, so that 1.5 mm is provided between the top end of the needle eyelet and blade point 2 of the hook.
(3) Positioning the hook (PLC-1690)
1) Loosen the coupling clamping screw from hole 4 for screwdriver of the hook driving shaft saddle and turn the
handwheel to lift the needle bar by 2.0 mm from the lowest point of its stroke.
2) In the aforementioned state, loosen four screws 5 in the throat plate support and two screws 6 in the hook driving
shaft saddle and move the hook driving shaft saddle to the right or left to adjsut so that a clearance 0.02 to 0.1 mm is
provided between blade point 2 of the hook and needle 3 . Then, tighten screws 5 and 6 .
3) Then, in the aforementioned 1) state, align blade tip 2 of the hook to the center of needle 3 and tighten coupling
clamping screw.
(3) Positioning the hook (PLC-1691)
1) Loosen the coupling clamping screw from hole 4 for screwdriver of the hook driving shaft saddle and turn the
handwheel to lift the needle bar by 2.0 mm from the lowest point of its stroke.
2) In the aforementioned state, loosen two screws 6 in the hook driving shaft saddle and six screws 7 in the side cover
and move the hook driving shaft saddle to the right or left to adjsut so that a clearance 0.02 to 0.1 mm is provided
between blade point 2 of the hook and needle 3 . Then, tighten screws 6 and 7 .
3) Then, in the aforementioned 1) state, align blade tip 2 of the hook to the center of needle 3 and tighten coupling
clamping screw.
(1) Vorbereitung zur Einstellung der Nadel-Greifer-Beziehung
1) Das Stichlängenrad bis zum Anschlag nach rechts drehen.
2) Das Handrad drehen, um die Nadelstange auf ihre Tiefstellung abzusenken. Dann die Klemmschraube 1 des
Nadelstangen-Verbindungsschafts lösen.
(2) Höhe der Nadelstange
Die Normalhöhe der Nadelstange ist gegeben, wenn bei Anhebung der Nadelstange um 2,0 mm von ihrem Tiefstpunkt
ein Abstand von 1,5 mm zwischen dem oberen Ende des Nadelöhrs und der Blattspitze 2 des Greifers besteht.
(3) Einstellen der Greiferposition (PLC-1690)
1) Die Kupplungsklemmschraube durch die Schraubendreheröffnung 4 im Greiferantriebswellensattel lösen, und die
Nadelstange durch Drehen des Handrads um 2,0 mm von ihrem Tiefstpunkt anheben.
2) In diesem Zustand die vier Schrauben 5 der Stichplattenstütze und die zwei Schrauben 6 des Greiferantriebswel
lensattels lösen und diesen nach rechts oder links schieben, um einen Abstand von 0,02 bis 0,1 mm zwischen der
Blattspitze 2 des Greifers und der Nadel 3 zu erhalten. Anschließend die Schrauben 5 und 6 wieder festziehen.
3) Dann im obigen Zustand 1) die Blattspitze 2 des Greifers auf die Mitte der Nadel 3 ausrichten, und die
Kupplungsklemmschraube anziehen.
(3) Einstellen der Greiferposition (PLC-1691)
1) Die Kupplungsklemmschraube durch die Schraubendreheröffnung 4 im Greiferantriebswellensattel lösen, und die
Nadelstange durch Drehen des Handrads um 2,0 mm von ihrem Tiefstpunkt anheben.
2) In diesem Zustand die zwei Schrauben 6 des Greiferantriebswellensattels und die sechs Schrauben 7 der
Seitenabdeckung lösen, und den Greiferantriebswellensattel nach rechts oder links schieben, um einen Abstand von
0,02 bis 0,1 mm zwischen der Blattspitze 2 des Greifers und der Nadel 3 zu erhalten. Anschließend die Schrauben
6 und 7 wieder festziehen.
3) Dann im obigen Zustand 1) die Blattspitze 2 des Greifers auf die Mitte der Nadel 3 ausrichten, und die
Kupplungsklemmschraube anziehen.
