7. Check for the leaks on each item listed (A-H) for the presence of growing bubbles.
8. Turn the gas supply to the "OFF" position at the source.
9. In order to release the gas pressure in the hose, turn on all the burner knobs and wait five minutes.
10. Then turn all the control knobs to the "OFF" position.
11. If there are any leaks, tighten any leaking connections.
12. Redo soapy water leak test until no leaks are detected.
13. Make sure the gas supply at source is set at the "OFF" position until you are ready to use your grill.
14. Wash off any soapy water residue from the test with cold water and dry it with a towel .
15. Before lighting the grill, wait 5 minutes to allow all the gas to evacuate the surrounding area.

CAUTION: NEVER use the grill if leaks cannot be stopped.
Note: The leak test must be performed in an area that has adequate lighting in order to see if
bubbles are developing.
Failure to perform these safety steps properly could result in property damage, bodily harm, severe burns,
and death. These steps should be performed after the grill has been assembled and prior to each use. DO NOT
operate this grill until you have read and understand ALL of the warnings and instructions in this manual.
PRE-START CHECK LIST:
• Make sure that the grill is properly assembled.
• Before each use, inspect the gas supply hose for burns, chaffing, kinks and routing. Replace the hose prior to the
grill being used if there is any presence of any damage to the hose.
• Perform leak check on all gas connections and hose. See section on "Leak Testing".
• Make sure that all electrical supply cords are properly grounded. Keep any electrical supply cord and the fuel
supply hose away from any heated surfaces. The gas hose should be at least 3 inches away from hot surfaces.
• Place your grill on level ground in a well ventilated area, at least 24 inches away from any combustible materials,
buildings and overhangs.
• Properly place the empty grease tray under the grease drain hole in the bottom of the grill to catch grease during
use.
• DO NOT obstruct the flow of combustion and ventilation air.
