NOTICE
Risk of loss of function due to improper care
The waterproof walking device must be cleaned with clean fresh water
after any contact with saltwater or water containing chlorine/soap or
contact with abrasive substances (e.g. sand). To clean the prosthesis,
it should be placed in a sink (tub) with clean fresh water and moved
around to rinse the corners, edges, and the tube.
The prosthesis also must be dried immediately after every use.
Contact with abrasive substance (e.g. sand) can lead to premature wear.

5 Preparation for use
INFORMATION
According to the Ottobock alignment recommendations, bench alignment
of the waterproof walking device with the 1WR95 Aqua Foot on 0 mm heel
height is usually only possible with the aid of the angled tube adapter. Use
the 2WR95=1 tube adapter which is angled at the top. If necessary, the
2WR95 straight tube adapter can be used in the thigh area for TF patients.
5.1 Alignment recommendations
Correct alignment is a basic requirement for proper functionality of the
waterproof walking device.
Observe the alignment recommendations in the instructions for use of the
respective components!
The residual limb position must be taken into account for positioning of
the lamination anchor. The 4WR95=1 angled anchor arm takes the pro-
per alignment position into account. The effort required to bend the dorsal
anchor arm in order to fit it to the socket position is reduced significantly
or eliminated.
