Introduction
When powered, all ETwater controllers will default to the online operational mode. The Online mode is used when the
controller's watering schedule is going to be programmed using ETwater's web-application ETwater Manger. ETwater
products are designed and optimized to work in "Online" or "Connected" mode, taking advantage of wireless connectivity, a
nationwide network of weather stations, and irrigation schedules that adjust daily based on the weather. The Offline
operational mode can only be programmed at the controller, and does not contact ETwater's server, therefore, the controller
will not automatically adjust for local weather conditions. The below instructions will step you through setting up Offline
programming. ETwater products are not designed with Offline as a primary operating mode, and have limited functionality
when set Offline. Offline and Online operational modes run schedules differently. An Online watering schedule cannot be
used when the operational mode is set to Offline, and an Offline watering schedule cannot be used when the operation
mode is set to Online.
Programming an ETwater Controller in Offline mode
1.)
If the controller is online press the Offline Program button on the front of the keypad and press the
Down Arrow button to select OFFLINE which will be displayed on the LCD screen; press ENTER. The
display will then read " offline is timed irrigation"

The offline program menu will display.(Press - 1 to Set Clock, 2 to edit Start Times, 3 to delete starts, 4
for # stations, 5 to edit stns, and 6 for defaults) *Default programs are set for 10 mins per station
beginning at 10pm*

Set Clock: Selection 1 - The correct time and date may already be set on the controller. If not, set it
using the following steps.
a. Press 1 on the Main Menu to SET CLOCK
b. Set the HOUR using the ARROW keys or the NUMBER keys and press ENTER
c. Set the MINUTES using the ARROW keys or the NUMBER keys and press ENTER
d. Set the SECONDS using the ARROW keys or the NUMBER keys and press ENTER
e. Last, set the AM/PM using only the ARROW keys and press ENTER
Programming your Controller Offline
Firmware Versions 6.12 and greater
Please Note: To find the version of firmware your controller currently has
press the enter key twice and the serial number and version of firmware will
display on the screen
