Attach the engine guard at the rear of the
frame and rotate upward.
Install the mounting screws, washers and
nuts that attach the engine guard to the frame.
Chassis screws
Place the motorcycle on a suitable stand.
Remove the right side plate.
Remove the spring

spring from the intermediate exhaust pipe.

Remove the screws

along with the intermediate exhaust pipe.

Do not remove the muffler after operating the motor-
cycle. It can behot and there is a risk of being burned.
Remove the shaft

Remove the screw

Remove the top screw of the shock.
Remove the shock from the top.
