Testing the Collar : auto-testing
In order to check the device operates correctly, start the auto-testing procedure.
Make sure the spray emission valve is directed opposite to your body and particularly to your eyes.
To start the test procedure press the On/Off red button on the front of the product.
The collar will automatically emit a spray or a "click" sound (according to the state of the reservoir) to
indicate it is turned on, and it works correctly.

Replacing battery

The battery supplied in the collar is a SAFT 3,6 Volt Lithium battery.
Battery life:
- approximately 3 years on regular use
- approximately 4 years in stand-by
Caution: The battery can only be replaced by the manufacturer.
For further information, please contact your distributor.
Caution: Do not under any circumstances open the IKI SPRAY collar. You could damage components.
Moreover, opening the collar voids your guarantee.

Fitting the collar

Collar adjustment is very important:
- If the nylon strap is too loose, the collar is likely to move and it will not operate properly.
- If the nylon strap is too tight, the dog will have difficulty breathing.
The nylon strap is properly adjusted when you can insert two fingers between the strap and your dog's
neck.
The collar must be positioned on your dog's neck with:
- The spray valve and the microphone pointing up toward your dog's snout (See Diagram 4).
- The refill valve directed downward. Reservoir in contact with your dog's neck (See Diagram 4).
If you have a long haired dog, make sure that the spray reaches the dog's snout area. If necessary, trim
the hair on your dog's neck.
