Intended purpose

The JuzoPro Manu, made out of inelastic materials
with adjustable, partly removable reinforcing ele-
ments, immobilises the wrist in at least two move-
ment directions.
This is how to put on your JuzoPro Manu
correctly:
1. Open all velcro fasteners and slip your hand into
the orthosis so that the velcro fasteners are on
top and your thumb protrudes from the opening
provided for it.
2. First, fasten the centre velcro, or for the long model
fasten the two medium velcros.
3. Then secure the velcro across the hand, and finally
secure the fastener on the forearm.
4. Move the circular strap around the wrist and push
it through the plastic strap. Then pull it back over it
and close the velcro fastener.
Proper fit of your orthosis is ensured if it firmly en-
closes the wrist without exerting undue (painful)
pressure.
You can readjust your orthosis any time by repeating
steps 2 – 4.
Please note:
Only wear your orthosis when prescribed by your
physician. Medical aids should only be dispensed by
suitably trained staff of a medical products supplier.
The effectiveness of the orthosis can only be real-
ised if it is applied correctly. The orthosis is largely
resistant to oils, ointments, skin moisture and other
environmental influences. Certain combinations may
negatively impact on the durability of the fabric. We
therefore recommend that it gets examined regularly
by the medical products supplier. Should the product
become damaged, please consult your specialist
supplier. Do not repair the orthosis yourself – this
could compromise its quality and medical efficacy.
For hygienic reasons, the orthosis is not suitable for
treating more than one patient.
Washing and care instructions
Please observe the care instructions on the textile
label attached to your orthosis. Please remove the
circular strap. Afterwards remove the three aluminum
splints from their pockets. Close all velcro fasteners
and wash your orthosis and its strap by hand at a tem-
perature of about 30 °C, using a gentle detergent. We
recommend using the mild Juzo Special Detergent for
this. Wash the orthosis separately the first time (pos-
sibility of colour bleeding). Thereafter, please rinse
the orthosis fabric well and let it dry hanging freely;
do not wring it out. To reduce the drying time, you
can place the orthosis on a thick terry towel, roll it
up tightly and squeeze it firmly. Do not leave it in the
towel and do not place it on a heater or in the sun to
dry. Please return the aluminum splints to their pock-
ets only after the orthosis fabric has dried completely.
This Juzo product should not be chemically cleaned.
