2) Remove the shoe.
3) Pull the foot component of the orthosis out of the shoe.

5.3 Selecting the function modes

Selecting Free Walk mode
► Slide the 3-phase switch to the upper position (see fig. 4).
Selecting permanent locking
1) Slide the 3-phase switch to the lower position (see fig. 4).
2) Push the orthosis ankle joint towards the body and extend the orthosis knee joint.
→ The knee joint is permanently locked.
Selecting free motion mode
1) Slide the 3-phase switch to the upper position (see fig. 4).
2) Push the orthosis ankle joint towards the body and extend the orthosis knee joint.
3) Flex the orthosis knee joint.
4) Slide the 3-phase switch to the lower position (see fig. 5).
→ The orthosis knee joint can be flexed freely at all times.
6 Cleaning
Clean the orthosis regularly:
1) Remove the straps from the orthosis.
2) Fasten all hook-and-loop closures.
3) Hand-wash the straps and pads in warm water at 30 °C (86 °F) using neutral detergent. Rinse
thoroughly.
4) Allow to air dry. Do not expose to direct heat sources (e.g. sunlight, stove or radiator).
7 Disposal
Dispose of the product in accordance with national regulations.
