TBML 160 PN MAINTENANCE
E
Periodically analyse combustion gases and check emissions val-
N
ues.
Periodically replace the diesel fuel and gas filters when dirty.
G
Check that all components of the combustion head are in good
L
condition, have not been deformed by high temperatures and con-
tain no impurities or deposits from the installation environment or
I
from poor combustion; check the efficiency of electrodes.
If it is necessary to clean the combustion head, take out its compo-
S
nents according to the procedure described below:
1) Disconnect the diesel fuel 1 pipes from the connectors beneath
H
the combustion head (be careful of drips)
2) Unscrew screws 2 (No.4) and turn the burner around pin 3 in
the hinge (figure 1).
3) After pulling the ignition cables 4 out of their electrodes, com-
pletely unscrew the locking nuts 5 (No.2) from mixing unit.
Loosen nut 6 and completely unscrew the fastening screw on
the delivery coupling 7. Using a suitable wrench, unscrew the
screw (B) and unhook the lever that moves the combustion
head forward (see fig. 3). At this point, loosen the screw that
fixes the head pressure pipe and remove it.
4) Slightly lower the gas delivery connection (9) (figure 4) and re-
move the entire mixing unit in the direction indicated by the
arrow in figure 4.
5) Complete the maintenance work; replace the combustion head,
following in reverse order the operations above described, after
having checked the correct position of the electrodes of ignition
and of ionization (see 0002936380).
When closing the burner, gently pull towards the electrical
!
panel, putting the two ignition cables slightly in tension,
then arrange them in their housing (7) as in figure 2. This
will ensure that the two cables do not get damaged by the
fan during the working of the burner.
