INSTALLATION
T o operate a good installation of the barrier ALT-6
follow these instructions:
Locate inside the property the correct point to install
ALT-6. Check that
ANTICLOCKWISE is correct. In case you need invert
the opening direction see the capitol "Inversion of
opening direction". Build up a cement emplacement
with sizes like fig. 1, foreseeing the passing of the
protective coverings "G" for the passing of the power
supply and control system cables. Before that the
cement solidify, install the barrier on its bracket "Ps"
(Optional) immersing it in the cement and making
sure that the bracket "Ps" is oriented and perfectly on
level (fig. 2). If you have a solid point of support you
can fix the barrier on the ground with screws and
plugs without utilizing the bracket "Ps". After that the
cement is perfectly solidify install the barrier ALT-6 on
the bracket "Ps" or on the fixing plugs and fix it slightly
with the nuts supplied "D" or with the plugs screws
(fig. 3). Adjust the barrier inclination with the grub
screws "E" (fig. 3 ).
WARNING
Never dismantle the boom when it is in the
horizontal position.
Never carry out the emergency manoeuvre when the
boom is not installed.
TO ADJUST THE MECHANICAL STOPS
Install the boom of the barrier and carry out the
emergency or manual manoeuvre (see the par.
"Emergency or manual manoeuvre").
Using two fix keys meas. 17 loose the fixing nut "D1"
and screw or unscrew the screw "F1" in order to
obtain the wished position of vertical stop and so fix
the nut "D1" (fig. 4). Put the boom in the horizontal
position, loose the nut "D2" and adjust the mechanical
stop "F2" in order to obtain the wished position of
horizontal stop and so fix the nut "D2"(
When you finish the manual manoeuvre open and
close the barrier to verify the correct functioning.
TO ADJUST THE ELECTRICAL LIMIT SWITCH
With a manual manoeuvre put the boom in the
vertical position and rotate the more internal cam
"Ca" to crush the limit switch, remind that this limit
switch control a slowing down of boom movement to
the mechanical stop, you can decide the time of this
slowing down moving away or drawing up the cam to
the limit switch (fig. 4). With manual manoeuvre put
the boom in the horizontal position and rotate the
more external cam "Cc" to crush limit switch, remind
that this limit switch control a slowing down of boom
movement to the mechanical stop, you can decide the
time of this slowing down moving away or drawing up

TO INVERT THE OPENING DIRECTION
With a manual manoeuvre put the boom in the
vertical position, so put in automatic system the gear,
for safety reason take out the boom from the barrier.
Take care, dismantle the screw of the support
of the balancing spring "Mb" and after the screw of the
support "S1", so take away the spring (
Using a fix key meas. 19 unscrew the screws "V1" and
"V2" of the lever "Lm" and the lever "Ls" and remove
the connection lever "Lt" (
with a diameter of 10 mm and with a hammer take
away the pins "V3"of the lever "Ls" (
Tu rn the lifting lever "Ls" by 90° clockwise and with the
hammer reinstall the pins "V3"
Carry out the emergency or manual manoeuvre (see
par. "Emergency or manual manoeuvre") and turn the
lever "Lm" by 90° anticlockwise
connection lever "Lt" fixing the screws "V1" and "V2"
(fig. 9). Reinstall the balancing spring "Mb" fixing with
appropriate screws before the support "S3" and after
the support "S4" ( f ig. 10) and insert the boom.
Carry out the circuitry like in the control panel manual
and mount the obligatory safety devices.
Teach the people intended for the use of the
automation about the controls, safety devices,
emergency manoeuvre and dangerousness deriving
from the utilize of the automation.
Compile the technical booklet and fulfil the eventual
obligations deriving from the regulations in force.
We Guarantee the correct functioning of the
barrier ALT-6 only and exclusively if provided with
KEY safety devices and only if combined with
the original control panel.
EMERGENCY OR MANUAL MANOEUVRE
You have to do the emergency or manual manoeuvre
during the installation, or only if the automation does
not work properly or if there is not power supply.
WARNING: Never carry out the emergency or
manual manoeuvre when the Room is not
installed in the automation system.
WARNING: Never dismantle the boom of the
barrier until it is in the horizontal position.
CUT OFF THE POWER SUPPLY .
Open the door using the supplied key "Ch" (
Using the supplied hexagonal key "Ch1" turn
clockwise the grub "Vs" to free the gear
Never screw the grub completely, but just till releasing
the boom.
T o re-establish the normal automation functioning,
turn with the key "Ch1" the screw "Vs" anticlockwise to
put in automatic system the gear, so take away the
key and close with the key "Ch" the door.
Place the keys "Ch" and "Ch1" in a safety place known
exclusively from the people intended for the use of the
automation. Switch on the power supply, pay attention
that there's nobody where the barrier is moving.
