replace it. If replacement is necessary,
contact an authorised assistance centre.
9. STORAGE
When you intend to put your machine away
for more than 30 days, proceed as follows:
1. Clean the accessory thoroughly.
2. Check that the accessory is not damaged.
If necessary, see to the necessary repairs.
3. If the paintwork is damaged,
touch it up to prevent rust.
4. Protect any exposed metal surfaces from rust.
5. Store the accessory indoors if possible.
6. It is suggested to store the machine by
setting the cutting-means assy in working or
transport position, so as to avoid damage
to the drive belt (see also the instructions
provided in the ride-on lawnmower with
front cutting's instruction manual ).
10. ASSISTANCE AND REPAIRS
This manual provides all the necessary
information to run the machine and for correct
basic maintenance operations which can
be performed by the user. Any regulations
and maintenance operations not described
herein must be carried out by your Dealer
or Authorized Service Centre, which have
the necessary knowledge and equipment to
ensure that the work is carried out correctly,
maintaining the correct degree of safety and the
original operating conditions of the machine.
Any adjustments or maintenance operations not
described in this manual must be carried out by
your Dealer or a specialized Service Centre. Both
have the necessary knowledge and equipment
to ensure that the work is done correctly
without affecting the safety of the machine.
• Only authorized service centres can carry
out guaranteed repairs and maintenance.
• Authorized servicing centres use genuine
spare parts only. Genuine spare parts
and accessories have been designed
specifically for the machines.
• Non-genuine spare parts and accessories
are not approved and any use of such parts
will render the warranty null and void.
• It is advisable to send your machine
once a year to an authorized service
workshop for servicing, assistance
and safety device inspection.
11. HANDLING AND TRANSPORT
When handling or transporting
the accessory, you must:
• Stop the machine
• Wait until the cutting means are stationary.
• Adjust the minimum cutting height (par. 5.1).
• Release the cutting means assembly
from the ride-on lawnmower with
front cutting (chap. 4.4).
• Move it along on its wheels (fig. 1.C).
12. WARRANTY COVERAGE
The warranty covers all material and
manufacturing defects. The user must
follow all the instructions provided in the
attached documentation carefully.
The warranty does not cover damage caused by:
• Failure to read and understand the
documentation accompanying the machine.
• Carelessness.
• Incorrect or prohibited use and assembly.
• The use of non-original spares.
• The use of accessories not supplied
or approved by the manufacturer.
The warranty does not cover:
• Wear parts such as drive belts, augers,
headlamps, wheels, shear bolts and wires.
• Normal wear and tear.
• Engines. There are covered by the
warranty provided by the engine
manufacturer in accordance with the
specified terms and conditions.
The purchaser is safeguarded by national
legislation. The purchaser's rights, as envisaged
by national legislation in the country of use,
are not in any way affected by this warranty.
