dangerous materials, sewage and burning
material.
- Work with the machine without the safety
systems.
- Connect to the machine equipment not
provided by the manufacturer.
- Use the machine with one hand. Use with
one hand can cause serious injury to the
operator, to assistants, bystanders or any
combination of such persons. The machine is
designed to be used with both hands.
Precautions for use of the machine
WARNING:
- Do not tamper with or remove the safety
devices fitted on the machine. REMEMBER
THAT THE USER IS ALWAYS RESPONSIBLE
FOR DAMAGE AND INJURY CAUSED TO
OTHERS.
- If you encounter a situation where you are
uncertain how to proceed you should ask
an expert. Contact your dealer or an
Authorised Service Centre. Avoid all usage
which you .consider to be beyond your
capability.
- Do not use the machine unless you are
able to call for help in the event of an
accident.
- The machine must under no circumstances
be driven on, or even across, public
roadways.
- Never use the machine to tow or push
other objects. Stability of the machine is
affected.
- During the unloading with dump box, the
center of gravity changes continuously
and consequently the stability of the
machine. Pay particular attention to cases
in which the load is pasted to the transport
box, for example with wet clay, icy material
or asphalt.
- Do not allow the load to protrude from the
transport box; protruding material can hit
other objects and can be thrown from the
transport box.
- Contact with electrical wires or cables can
cause serious injury or death due to
e l e c t r i c a l c u r re nt. Th i s u n i t i s n o t
disconnected.
WARNING - The lateral stability of the
machine DECREASES:
- The more the load is high.
- The more the load is higher related to the
bed (Fig. 3).
- The more the load is shifted with respect
to the centerline of the machine (Fig. 4).
WARNING - When the load increases the
tendency of the machine is to tip over
towards the front:
- Going downhill with a heavy load, do not
use the maximum speed.
- Do not brake suddenly.
- Operate the machine only in daylight or well-
lit conditions.
- Take great care when changing direction,
especially when working on slopes.
- Slow down the engine before switching it off.
- Check the surrounding area for possible
obstacles (roots, rocks, branches, ditches,
etc.).
- Be particularly cautious and alert while
wearing hearing protection because such
equipment may restrict your ability to hear
sounds indicating danger (calls, signals,
warnings, etc.).
- Slow down before turning.
- Be careful to prevent the load from falling
backwards bumping the controls.
- Ensure the stability of the load to prevent it
from slipping (forward/backward or left/right)
during transport, altering the stability of the
machine.
- Remember always that the stability of the
machine is different depending on the
presence or absence of the load.
- Never allow a person to stand or walk in front
of the machine during the movements.
- Always evaluate the path to run before
moving the machine. If multiple paths are
possible, choose one that has the least
number of slopes, obstacles, changes of
direction and holes.
- The greater the slope or the irregularity of the
ground, the lower must be the speed of the
machine.
- Do not apply any crawlers other than those
provided by the manufacturer.
- The machine can be used only by properly
trained and skilled operators.
