Separating the bracelet and individual links
Open the clasp by pressing gently on
the side. Lay the bracelet on a firm
surface, upper side down. Using the
enclosed tool, you can now push
down the securing pin (1) at the point
where you wish to separate the bra-
celet and then, using the other tool,
push out the unmarked hinge pin to
a distance of about 3 mm (2).
Pull the protruding hinge pin out
of the bracelet (3). Now the bracelet
is separated and you can adjust it to
fit by adding or removing links as
necessary.
Establishing the length of the bracelet
Place the watch with its separated
bracelet on your wrist and estimate
the number of links you need to re-
move (as described above). If you
need to remove several links, try to
keep the numbers removed from
both halves of the bracelet as nearly equal as possible,
to ensure that the clasp remains roughly in the middle of
your wrist.
To enable you to adjust the bracelet as accurately as
possible to your wrist, we have included one extra-long
link next to the clasp. By removing this link you can
shorten the bracelet by half a step and adjust the length
even more precisely.
Keep any extra links and the tools in a safe place for
future use.
