- Do not move diagonally on a slope.
- When using the reverse, move at low
speed and pay attention to what you have
behind.
How to bend
1. Pull the crawlers lock lever (2 or 5, Fig.2) of
the side to which you want to bend; left lever
(2) to turn left and right lever (5) to turn
right.
2. After bending, release the lever (2 or 5).
WARNING!
- To stop the machine in motion do not
simultaneously pull the two crawler lock
levers (2 and 5, Fig.2), but release the
clutch lever (1).
- Do not use the crawler lock levers to bend
when you are going downhill.
How to change speed
1. Release the clutch lever (1, Fig.2).
2. Put the gear shift lever (8) in the desired
speed position, F1 - F2 forward, R1 - R2
reverse.
3. Gradually lower the clutch lever (1). The
machine will start moving slowly.
CAUTION
- Release the clutch lever (1) before using
the gear lever (8).
- Do not force the gear lever (8). If you do
not engage a gear, slightly move the
machine by lowering the clutch lever (1)
and try again.
- Do not change speed while the machine is
in motion, it could be damaged.
WARNING!
- Use the lower speeds (F1 and R1) when you
run down a slope or a ramp.
- Do not change speed as you run down an
inclined surface.
Driving on slopes
WARNING!
- Choose the slowest speed before driving
on a slope and not change gear.
- Do not park the machine on a slope.
- If you stop on a slope, release the clutch
lever. The brakes will be operated
automatically.
- Move slowly when you run down a slope.
- Before moving on a slope, put the lower
gear and move the machine slowly. An
abrupt start can cause the front part of the
machine to rise sharply, creating a very
dangerous situation.
Moving without mowing
WARNING: This machine has not been
approved for use on public roads. It
must be used (as indicated by the
highway code) in private areas closed to
traffic.
How to stop the machine
1. Release the clutch lever (1, Fig.2).
2. Honda engine: put the throttle lever
(A, Fig. 13) to 0 (STOP). Emak engine: put the
lever (B, Fig.14) to the STOP position.
3. For the engine stopping operations, follow
the instructions in the engine manual.
WARNING!
- Do not touch the muffler or the engine
while it is running or immediately after
stopping it. These parts can become very
hot.
- When leaving the machine unattended,
put it in a flat, stable area and stop the
engine.
How to park
WARNING! - Select a firm, level surface
to park the machine. Only in case
of absolute necessity park uphill or
downhill without the load. With the
load it is not recommended to park on a
slope.
