13. Shutting down the unit

This section describes the procedure to shut down the unit. If you wish to work inside the unit, you must carry out
these instructions in the order shown here to remove the power.
1. Switch to stop mode from the inverter control panel or from the control application.
2. Remove AC voltage from a means of disconnection outside the unit.
3. Remove DC voltage from a means of disconnection outside the unit or using the unit switch, provided
the protection barriers protecting the DC supply are not going to be removed. Where these protections
are to be removed (for example, to handle the DC supply or the string fuses, for example), remove the
DC voltage by disconnecting all of the quick connectors (PRO version) or using a means of disconnection
outside the unit (STD version).
4. Wait 5 minutes for the internal capacitances to discharge, the hot parts which may cause burns to cool
and the fan blades to stop turning.
5. Open the lower compartment and, using the appropriate PPE, check the absence of voltage in the DC and
AC inputs.
6. Signal cut-off point (Vac and Vdc) with a sign reading ¨Caution no switching...¨. If necessary, rope off the
work area.
