DC connection
The cabling used for the connection must have dimensions in line with current regulations in the country of
installation and according to the type of installation, connectors, and maximum current and voltage of the PV array.
9.2.2. STD Version
The admissible rated current for these units is 185 Adc (maximum of 200 Adc). The admissible section for the DC
cables is 70 mm
to 300 mm
2
spade terminal. The maximum width of the spade must not exceed 40 mm.
The cable conductor material may be copper or aluminum. If the connection of aluminum cables is required, the
installer must provide the necessary means to prevent galvanic coupling (bipolar terminals, bimetallic interfaces,
etc.).
9.3. DC connection process
9.3.1. PRO Version
Assembly of aerial connectors

It is essential to check the polarity of the strings and correctly assemble their aerial connectors to ensure that
the connection to the unit has the correct polarity. Ingeteam accepts no liability for any consequences resulting
from an incorrect connection.
Each string connected to the unit must be electrically independent of each other.
Connection via quick connectors
To ensure the correct operation of the switch, when connecting the strings the numbering must be respected. That
is, string 1 must be connected to connectors PV1+ and PV1-. Proceed in the same way until all strings have been
completed.
With the switch on Off and the unit completely closed:
1.
Remove the caps from the connectors.
2.
Connect the strings to each of the inputs, respecting the polarities indicated on the lower connections
plate of the unit. Also take into account the numbering of each input, respecting it in the positive and
negative poles.
After checking that all the strings have been connected correctly, ensure that the connections are firm.
3.
Turn the DC switch to On.
4.
If the strings have voltage, the On/Off LED on the unit's control panel with flash green. Otherwise, it is
possible that the strings have insufficient voltage.
9.3.2. STD Version
With the switch OFF and the AC cables without voltage, open the unit's lower compartment.

Uninstall the polycarbonate guard.

Follow the steps below according to the cable diameter.
