3.2.1 Set up

Permits setting and adjustment of a series of additional parameters
for improved and more accurate control of the welding system.
Entry to set-up: press the key S5 for 3 sec. (the central zero on
the 7-segment display confirms entry).
Selection and adjustment of the required parameter: rotate
the encoder until you display the numerical code for the requi-
red parameter. By pressing key S5 at this point, you can display
the value set for the parameter selected and adjust it.
Quitting set-up: to quit the "adjustment" section, press the key
S5 again.
To quit the set-up, go to parameter "O" (save and quit) and press
key S5.
List of set up parameters
0 Save and quit: allows you to save the changes and quit the
set up.
2 Pre-gas: allows you to set and adjust the gas flow prior to
sparking of the arc.
Permits filling of the torch with gas and preparation of the
environment for welding.
Minimum off, Max 25 sec., Default 0.01 sec.
3 Hot start: allows adjustment of the hot start value in MMA.
Permits adjustable hot start in the arc striking phases, facili-
tating the start operations.
Parameter set as a percentage (%) of the welding current.
Minimum off, Max 100%, Default 80%
4 Arc force: allows adjustment of the Arc force value in MMA.
Permits adjustable energetic dynamic response in welding,
facilitating the welder's operations.
Parameter set as a percentage (%) of the welding current.
Minimum off, Max 100%, Default 30%
6 Minimum EXT: permits adjustment of the minimum value
that can be used with external command.
Parameter set in amps (A).
Minimum 6A, Max 240A, Default 6A
7 Max EXT: permits adjustment of the maximum value that
can be used with external command.
Parameter set in amps (A).
Minimum 6A, Max 240A, Default 240A
9 Reset: allows you to reset all the parameters to the default
values.
14 Ib mode: permits setting of the base current in amps (A) or
as a percentage (%) of the welding current.
23 Spot welding: allows you to enable the "spot welding" pro-
cess and establish the welding time.
Minimum off, Max 25, Default off

3.2.2 Alarm codes

10 Over-temperature, Over-power, Under-power.
20, 21, 25, 26 Memory faulty.
24 External command not calibrated.

3.3 Rear panel

I1: Off/On switch.
Turns on the electric power to the welder.
It has two positions, "O" off, and "I" on.

3.4 Sockets panel

A1 torch fitting: permits connection of the TIG torch.
P1: negative power socket.
For connection of earth cable in electrode welding or
torch in TIG.
P2: positive power socket.
For connection of electrode torch in MMA or earth
cable in TIG.
