In case of using one RF signal and one TS external input simultaneously, the
BER information will talk about the demodulation of the RF signal, whereas all the
identification information (even the service list) will refer about the external TS. If in this
case it is required for visualizing digital video, also the one of the external TS will be
decoded.
3)
Once a service has been decoded, when turning the rotary selector [4] will appear
the information referred to the type of MPEG-2 received video. Therefore it is
possible also, to directly visualise the video and the information associated to the
list of services sequentially and cyclically.
Figure 42.- Description of the received MPEG-2 video.
In the example of previous figure, MP@ML (Main Profile and Main Level)
determines the profile of the standard MPEG-2 which defines the compression rate of
the digital service that is being decoded, whereas 4:3 corresponds to the picture
resolution level.
The following data; 720x576 25 Hz states the resolution (rows x columns) for the
received video and the image frequency of refreshment.
The measurement of the transmission speed of the digital video (BITRATE
VIDEO) appears indicated in kbit/s.
