Adjustment of teeth alarm
Remove the facial skin. 678
Remove the front teeth assembly q by pulling upwards.
Take out the small metal piece w carefully in order not to loose the
adjustment discs.
For more sensitivity of the teeth alarm, insert more discs. If too sensitive,
remove discs.
Put back the metal piece and press the front teeth assembly into the slot
until it snaps into position.
Battery shift
Open the tower by pushing the tab and pulling upwards the insides. See
picture @r
4.3.2 Stomach alarm
A stopper with a pneumatic buzzer closes the end of the oesophagus.
The buzzer is activated when ventilating with a tracheal tube placed
incorrectly in the oesophagus.
The stopper can be removed when training with stomach or nasogastric
tubes. t
4.4 Drawers
The two drawers are useful for accessories: Laryngoscope, tubes, masks,
lubricating gel, brush etc. 2
4.5 Base
The lightweight aluminum base is equipped with non-skid rubber feet's
for stable work fastening.

5. Cleaning

After use at least the outer surfaces of the Airway Management Trainer
should be cleaned with a soft cloth dipped in tepid water with a mild
detergent. Wipe dry with a soft cloth.
It is recommended to clean the inner surfaces of the model at intervals,
depending on the frequency of use. The cover simulating the facial and
neck skin should be removed for cleaning these parts. 678
Likewise, the inner surfaces should be washed with a mild detergent.
The brush and a cloth moistened with detergent can be used for this
purpose. The brush may easily be inserted into the trachea and oesopha-
gus from the lower end.
The transparent cover for the nasal cavities should be removed and
cleaned separately. To put back the cover, tilt it and press until it snaps
into position. y
After cleaning make sure that the facial and neck skin is refitted cor-
rectly in relation to teeth and nasal channels. The head skin is correctly
fixed when the snap fasteners on both sides are snapped. 876
