6 - FILL THE DRAUGHT CAN WITH ACID
To correct the pH value in the system, use acid from the special can supplied. The can is
empty when delivered.
Loosen the cap, to which the draught element is attached and, using a funnel, insert 2
kg pH minus into the can. Fill with water up to a level around the maximum mark, taking
care not to fill too much and cause the liquid to spill out.
Reinsert the draught element and cap. Close the cap without tightening it excessively.
The system will collect the required amount of acid to keep the pH levels in the pool
under control.
7 -
Start the SALT ELECTROLYSIS system and set the chlorine production level (see
paragraph SETTING THE ELECTROLYSIS SYSTEM PRODUCTION LEVEL), to
keep the free chlorine and pH values within recommended levels (see paragraph
RECOMMENDED pH/ORP VALUES).
NOTE: Measure free chlorine level by means of an analysis kit.
The system enters the "STAND-BY" mode by pressing the
the indicator reaches the percentage 0% and turns on in red. The stand-by mode is also
shown by the text "0" on the system information display. In the above condition, there is
no production in the electrolysis cell.
This procedure is to be carried out in case of any probe maintenance intervention or
while awaiting the complete salt dissolution in water.
