the vehicle belt is routed
low across the childs upper

Before traveling, verify that the:
9 Vehicle belt is not twisted.
9 Shoulder part of vehicle belt is routed through the shoulder belt
guide above the child's shoulder, lies across the center of the
child's chest and does not contact the child's neck.
9 Lap part of the vehicle belt is routed low across the child's upper
thighs.
Switching between Harness and Booster Mode
Harness Mode to Booster Mode
NOTE: It is not necessary to use lower anchors and top tether
to position this child restraint in BOOSTER mode. If using the
lower anchors and top tether to position this child restraint in
BOOSTER mode, it is recommended to follow Booster Mode
Installation before storing the harness. Refer to page 31 Using
Lower Anchors and Top Tether (LATCH) in BOOSTER Mode.
1. Raise the headrest to the
highest position.
2. Loosen the harness. Press
the harness release button
(A) and pull both harness
straps forward (B).
NOTE: Make sure enough
harness adjuster strap is left
hanging from the front of the
seat. Use the inner slot as a
reference point to measure
how much harness strap
can be left hanging from the
front of the seat.
