1. INSTALLATION PROCEDURES
ALL LOCAL, NATIONAL AND EUROPEAN STANDARDS MUST BE COMPLIED WITH WHEN
INSTALLING THE APPLIANCE.
1.1. Fireplace room. The appliance contains firebricks, ash pan and a fire grate and glass door.
All can be removed to aid transport and installation.
1.2. Smokes exit. Flue pipe is required to connect the appliance to the smokes exit. It must be
the same diameter as the fireplace throat. The minimum length of pipe is 4000 mm from the flue
to the point of discharge. Installation must comply with all regulations and the flue system of
chimney must not be shared with another appliance.
1.3. Floor. The floor must be of suitable load bearing capacity for assembly and installation.
Weak floors can be strengthened with a panel to disperse the weight over a larger area.
1.4. Insulation and safety distances. It is advisable to insulate the back of the chimney. Walls,
ceiling or floor into which the fireplace will be placed, it must not contain any combustible
