CONFiG XRP
CONFiG XRP is a PC software application that allows you to configure and diagnose problems with the XRP Reader. CONFiG XRP is supplied on a CD
with your XRP Reader, or it can be downloaded from www.tru-test.com.
Installing the CONFiG XRP software
1 Insert the CONFiG XRP CD into the PC's CD drive.
Installation begins automatically.
2 Follow the onscreen instructions in order to install the application.
Using the CONFiG XRP software to configure the XRP Reader
1 Connect the XRP Reader to a spare PC COM port using the RS232-DB9 serial communication cable provided.
2 Ensure that the XRP Reader is connected to a power supply and an antenna, and that the PC is on.
3 Double-click on the CONFiG XRP icon on the PC desktop to launch CONFiG XRP.
4 If required, click on the Configuration tab.
5 In the Connection Options field in the rop right-hand corner of the screen, select the COM port that the XRP Reader is connected to, then click
Connect.
6 Change options, as required. For a complete list of options, see page 15.
Using the CONFiG XRP software for troubleshooting the XRP Reader
1 Connect the XRP Reader to the PC by following steps 1-3 of
