INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
The boiler is equipped with the following safety devices:
• AIR PRESSURE SWITCH
Controls negative pressure in the chamber. If the chimney is blocked or there is a fan fault, it shuts
off auger loading and stops combustion.
• FAN ENCODER
Detects fan rotation and if there is a fault, it shuts off loading immediately, making the boiler switch
off.
• WATER BULB THERMOSTAT
Checks the temperature of the water inside the boiler. If the temperature exceeds the limit of 90°C
it shuts off auger loading and stops combustion.
• WATER TEMPERATURE PROBE
If the temperature exceeds the thermostat value the boiler starts to modulate its power.
• SMOKE TEMPERATURE PROBE
It detects the smoke temperature giving consent to start or stop the boiler.
• NO SWITCH ON
If during the switch-on phase after 20 minutes the boiler does not reach the smoke temperature of
at least 60°C the alarm switches on.
• ANTI-EXPLOSION VALVE
If during the switch on phase, due to excessive accumulation of fuel, the combustion chamber fills
with gas, the anti-explosion valve will expel the gas in the event of detonation.
• ELECTRICAL SAFETY
The boiler is equipped with a fuse to protect the electronics.
RE-ACTIVATION OF THE RESET THERMOSTAT
To re-activate the reset thermostat, unscrew the black hood and fully press the small cylinder until
you hear a release click.
To intervene on the water bulb safety thermostat, contact the Technical Support Centre authorised
by EDILKAMIN (TSC) to check the cause.
