5.3 Measures before commissioning

The following measures must be carried out prior to commissioning.

Description
The conditions of use are specified in the operating manu-
al and must in any case be observed.
The V2A steel band must be fixed at the top and bottom
of the elevator shaft and sufficiently secured against
slipping. The tension force must be 100-150 N. The lateral
distance from the band to the moving parts must be at
least 50 mm at any point. The swinging of the encoder in
the transverse direction must not exceed 10 mm.
The band must be inspected for soiling and foreign ob-
jects and cleaned as necessary prior to commissioning.
The Ants LES01 must be run completely error-free along
the entire installed band in each new installation in order
to check the complete system for errors or faulty installa-
tion.
