• Wire conductors (copper only) into device (L1, L2 and Ground).
Using a torque wrench and flat head bit, torque L1 and L2 lugs to
14.5 lb-in, and ground lug to 25 lb-in.
• Replace barrier plate, securing with two 3/32" hex screws. Do not
over tighten.
• Verify seals are seated correctly and are free of debris.
• Replace hinged cover, securing with four Phillips head screws. Do
not over tighten.
• Secure to mounting plate, securing with two drywall screws (2 ½
inches or longer).

3.5 Amperage Adjustment

The Siemens VersiCharge has the option of reducing the output
amperage, to allow installers to define the power output of the device.
This is designed to help installers and users manage installation costs and
the amount of retrofitting required to install the VersiCharge.
• Dial settings
• Amperage adjustment dial is for use by a qualified technician only.
• Purpose of the amperage adjustment switch is to limit the max
power that can be delivered by the charging station.
• The dial has 10 settings.
• 0-4 are for amperage adjustments.
• Settings 5-9 are for factory use only.
