BCAUTION
It is suggested to replace the seal rings when the
engine oil filter element is replaced.
Engine oil strainer
Regularly replace the engine oil strainer as instructed in
the "Table of Regular Maintenance". The replacing steps
are as follows.
1. Completely drain the original engine oil as instructed
in section "Engine oil replacement".
2. Dismantle the engine oil strainer cap 1 and take out
the spring 3 and the engine oil strainer 4.

NOTE: Do not lose the seal ring 2 on the engine oil
strainer cap.
3. Clean and inspect the engine oil strainer and, if it is
damaged, replace it.
4. Install the spring, the engine oil strainer and the engine
oil strainer cap.
NOTE: Do not lose the seal ring 2 on the engine oil
strainer cap.
5. Add the specified new engine oil into the engine as
instructed in section "Engine oil replacement".

BCAUTION
Carefully inspect whether the engine parts that
have been dismantled and installed again suffer
any oil leakage.
BCAUTION
It is suggested to replace the seal rings when the
engine oil filter element is replaced.

CLUTCH

Method to inspect the clutch cable gap 4: remove the
rubber bush 1 along the clutch cable, operate the clutch
handle and make sure there is a gap of 4mm before there
is an apparent resistance. If the gap is insufficient, adjust
it with the method below.
1. Remove the rubber bush 1 along the clutch cable,
loosen the nut 2.
2. Turn the adjusting screw 3 clockwise till the end.
3. Loosen the lock nut 5, adjust the nut 6 along
the front-back direction, operate the clutch lever and
adjust the clutch cable gap 4 to be about 4mm.
