LEFT-HAND ERGOPOWER EPS CONTROL
• Lever B (Fig. 15) on the left-hand control set operates the front derailleur,
lifting the chain onto the next highest chainring.
• Lever C (Fig. 15) operates the front derailleur, dropping the chain onto
the next lowest chainring.
RIGHT-HAND ERGOPOWER EPS CONTROL
• Lever B (Fig. 16) on the right-hand control set operates the rear derailleur,
lifting the chain onto the next highest sprocket.
• Lever C (Fig. 16) on the right-hand control set operates the rear derailleur,
dropping the chain onto the next lowest sprocket.
• You can hold the right-hand control lever B or C (Fig. 16) down to change
the rear derailleur up or down more than one sprocket.
Before each use and after a fall or collision, check that the bicycle compo-
nents do not exhibit any of the following problems:
• Ergopower commands that are loose or not correctly positioned on the
handlebar (Fig. 17).
• Ergopower commands, cables and sheaths that are damaged and no
longer operating the front derailleur, rear derailleur and brakes correctly.
• Command levers that are jammed and do not return to the original posi-
tion, or levers that are damaged.
• Command covers that are broken or damaged, which could cause the
hands to slip.
• Cuts or damage to the brake system tubing
• Broken or damaged brake pads
• Excessive wear of the brake pads, where the wear indicator on one or
more of the pads is no longer visible (Fig.18)
