• Incorrect position of the screw holding the pads in position and/or miss-
ing cotter pin at the end of the screw
• Discs with excessive wear (disc thickness of less than 1.65 mm, meas-
ured at any point on the braking surface).
If one or more of these problems are found or in the event of any doubts
with regard to the correct operation of the component, contact a special-
ised mechanic as indicated in Chapter 2, "INFORMATION AND TECHNI-
CAL SUPPORT".
