Installing the Guard

Parts needed for this procedure:
1 Guard
1 Phillips head screw
Procedure
1. Remove the Phillips that is taped to the guard (Figure 2).
2. Slide the guard onto the trimmer base as shown in Figure 2.

3. Secure the guard using a Phillips head screw.

Installing the Edge Guard

Parts needed for this procedure:
1 Wire edge guard
Procedure
Insert the ends of the wire edge guard into the holes in the trimmer
housing, as shown in Figure 3.
