18. Using the unit
The inverter operation management is done through the control panel and web
application.
For starting or stopping the inverter, the control panel made up of a button and its
corresponding LEDs can be used.
The full management is carried out through the web application.

18.1. Control panel

The control panel has one button and three LEDs:
On/Off button
Changes the status of the inverter from off to on and vice versa. The press must last longer than one second.
This button is also accessible in the web application.
On/Off LED (green/red)
• Green, flashing: inverter started.
• Green, on: inverter generating voltage in the critical loads or connected to the auxiliary grid/genset.
• Red, on: inverted in manual stop mode.
• Off: the inverter is disconnected or without firmware.
Status information LED (orange)
• Flashing: the inverter has an active warning.
• On: the inverter has an active alarm.
Communications LED (blue)
• Flashing: inverter trying to connect to INGECON SUN Monitor.
• On: inverter connected to INGECON SUN Monitor.
• Off: inverter not connected to INGECON SUN Monitor.

18.2. Inverter management through the web application

The web application allows monitoring and configuring the inverter, adapting it to any type of installation.
It is possible to access the web application from various types of device (smartphone, tablet or computer). The
inverter can be managed from the web application either locally (inverter and device connected to the same
communication network) or remotely (inverter and device connected to different communication networks).
The following sections describe the process for connecting the inverter locally or remotely.
For the initial connection with the inverter in local mode for configuring it, there are two modes of communication:
• Ethernet interface in DHCP mode.
• Wi-Fi interface in Access Point mode.
