18.11. Inverter power limitation reasons

On occasion the inverter may reduce the AC output power due to different reasons. In the event that the unit is
connected to a grid or auxiliary generator and there is a reduction in power, the most restrictive reason for power
limitation is shown.
The various reasons for limiting the power are explained below.
Reason

Battery Power Limited
Self Consumption
AC Grid Power Limited

18.12. Automatic battery emergency charge

An emergency charge must be performed when the installation is stopped due to a total battery discharge.
This function allows to charge the batteries up to a certain level in order to have enough energy to restore the
system again.
For the unit to carry out an emergency charge, the batteries must be in one of the following states:
Low charge level, SOC <= SOCdescx. (Code3 "Low Battery SOC Descx").
Low voltage, Vbat <= Vmin. (Code2 "Low Battery Vmin").
In Li-Ion batteries, when the BMS requires a forced charge due to the battery being totally discharged.
The inverters can charge the batteries from different energy sources. Depending on the energy source available,
this emergency charge will be automatically activated by the inverter.
