Certification
The SEAC Diving Pro stabilizing jackets
described in this manual have been subjected
to type testing, verified and certified by the
notified testing authority 0474 RINA with
headquarters in Genoa, Italy in conformity
with law EN 250 directive 89/686/CEE of
December 21, 1989 as SCUBA gear (III° cate-
gory) and in conformity with EN 1809 direc-
tive 89/896/CEE as a stabilizing vest.
The testing methods were implemented in
accordance to law EN 250 in applying the
same directive that established its entry onto
the market and the essential safety require-
ments of the Individual Protection Device
(IPD).
The EC seal signifies the conformity to the
essential health and safety requirements
(Annex II DE 89/686/CEE). The number 0470
beside the "EC" identifies the notified RINA
testing authority which carried out the testing
of the production according to provisions of

JACKET:
0474
In order to guarantee maximum attention to
the safety of the stabilizing vest, there is a
label with the following text:
ATTENTION!
This stabilizer is not a life vest
and does not guarantee support on the surface
with your face out of the water!
Before using this stabilizer, you must follow a
course held by qualified instructors and obtain the
relative qualification. The use of diving apparatus
by unqualified persons is dangerous and may
cause serious or fatal incidents to the diver and
his companions.
This stabilizer can be assembled on the single
cylinder up to 18 litres (Ø 220 mm) or on twin
cylinders of 10 + 10 litres.
Read the attached Instruction Manual carefully.
Before each use, control that the stabilizer is func-
tioning properly. Carefully screw the stabilizer jac-
ket hose to a low pressure outlet of the first stage
of the regulator! An eventual intake of high pres-
sure in the hose may cause breakage or serious
problems! Following each dive, including those in
swimming pools, the stabilizer must be rinsed
with fresh water inside and out. Keep the stabilizer
partially inflated in a cool, aerated place. A lack of
maintenance may cause damage to the stabilizer
or cause it to not function properly.
There is a table of the various buoyancy forces in
kilograms and Newton on back of the tag.
Attention!
Do not remove this tag from the stabilizing jac-
ket for any reason.
