Once on the surface, begin your dive by
deflating the bag; you will have three possibi-
lities:
1. Hold the power inflator, bring it up as
high as your head, and push the bottom
of the dump button: air will exit from the
mouthpiece (see illustration number 17).
2. Hold the handle of the upper quick dump
valve on the right and pull it, or even pull on
the black tube of the cable: air will exit the
valve rapidly (see illustration number 18).

3. If you find yourself upside-down, or head
down, hold one of the two handles on the
overpressure valve, right and left (in the
case of the ICARO jacket, the only valve
to pull is the one at the bottom right) and
pull slightly: air will exit automatically.
Once your descent has begun, the speed
tends to increase and must be compensa-
ted with the inlet button.
Having reached the desired depth, neutralise
your buoyancy with the inlet button. During
your stay on the bottom, you must carry out
only slight corrections to compensate for
slight variations in quotas and the progressi-
ve lightening of the tanks due to air con-
sumption.
Attention!
We recommend the use of the stabilizing jacket
only as a compensator for your underwater
buoyancy! Inflating the stabilizing jacket to lift
heavy objects from the sea floor can be extreme-
ly dangerous, causing uncontrolled ascents and
serious or fatal injuries to the diver and his com-
panions.
During the ascent, you can maintain buo-
yancy by slightly pressing the dump button,
allowing a gradual release of excess air; in
case of necessity, a prolonged and stronger
pressure allows a dumping of air sufficient to
control the speed of ascent.
If case of a sudden need for a rapid dumping,
we advise acting on the upper and lower
overpressure valves, according to the posi-
tion of the diver in that particular moment.
