Warning!
By releasing the intake button, it must stop
immediately. If this should not occur, contact an
authorized SEAC Diving Pro centre immediately
for the necessary controls.
If necessary, regulate the tension of the ela-
sticized bands to obtain the hydrodynamic
results and quick dumping of air described
previously.
Adjust the shoulder straps and the harness to
facilitate a better fit, loosen the shoulder
straps until there is the maximum opening
and proceed with putting on the weight belt.
Slip your arms through the shoulder straps,
paying attention to leave the low pressure
hose and the corrugated hoses on top. Close
the sternum regulation buckle that has pre-
viously been adjusted. By locking by hand
(pushing on the outside see illustration num-
ber 9), the right and left, we will obtain a per-
fect fit of the stabilizing jacket to the person.
The quick-release stainless steel buckle will
then have to be positioned in the centre of the
person (see illustration number 10). Verify
that at the conclusion of this operation, there
are no problems in movements or breathing
problems or shortness of breath.
Inflate the stabilizing jacket fully and wait
about 15 minutes. If the stabilizing jacket
tends to deflate, do not use it and contact an
authorized SEAC Diving Pro assistance cen-
tre immediately.
If you enter the water from a boat, remember
not to inflate the bag excessively in order to
avoid violent repercussions. To increase sup-
port, inflate the bag by pressing on the con-
cave button on the side of the power inflator;
or, if you prefer a maximum economizing of
air, you can blow into the mouthpiece of the
power inflator, holding down the convex,
lined button at the bottom at the same time,
and then releasing it as soon as you stop blo-
wing air. You can carry out this manoeuvre
40
even during diving because only a negligible
amount of air will enter into the bag.
Before diving, do not place the stabilizing jac-
ket in the sun and do not lean it against
sharp, pointed, or rough surfaces like rocks
or others that could damage it. Avoid leaving
the jacket on sandy surfaces as well.
Attention!
Remember that the power inflator is not an
emergency regulator, and must never substitute
a regulator!
