Icaro and Icaro Tech - Overpressure valves

The ICARO and ICARO TECH jackets are sup-
plied with overpressure valves that guarantee
the quick dumping of air. The function of
these valves is to automatically reduce the
internal pressure of the bag in case of exces-
sive inflation or in case of eventual necessity
during the various phases of diving. The val-
ves can be opened either because of excessi-
ve air pressure in the bag (bag completely
inflated with continual intake or volumetric
expansion of the air) or because of pulling of
the cable located on the valve itself.
ICARO has two valves (an upper one and a
lower one), while the ICARO TECH has three
(an upper one and two lower ones located at
the left and right ends of the bag).
As previously mentioned, each overpressure
valve can be activated by pulling the handle at
the end of the cable (see illustration number
4), the upper overpressure valve can also be
activated by pulling the activation cable con-
tainment tube. (see illustration number 5).
