water. Empty the water from the mouth-
piece, holding down the dump valve but-
ton. Let it dry without exposing it extensi-
vely to direct sunlight. In order to facilita-
te the release of air you can carry out this
operation with the stabilizing jacket under
full pressure, in order to have the over-
pressure valves open automatically.
2. In order to guarantee the maintenance of
the special characteristics of the back-
pack, we recommend being careful not to
scratch the special surface treatment with
hard or sharp objects, to rinse with fresh
water and dry the backpack after each
dive, and not leave it in direct contact
with other metals, especially in the pre-
sence of an electrolyte like, for example,
sea water. All this care will guarantee an
unlimited use of your backpack over time.
3. Never leave the stabilizing jacket with
other equipment that may rip or puncture
the bag.
4. Avoid contact with oils, solvents, or gasoline.
5. Before each dive, control the correct
functioning of the power inflator and the
overpressure valves (see illustration
number 21); verify the seal on the pres-
sure bag.

6. If you think you will not use the stabilizing
jacket for more than a month, rinse it very
well inside, drain the water, and when it is
perfectly dry, place it partially inflated in a
cool, aerated place.
7. To avoid the growth of undesired bacteria,
disinfect the inside of the stabilizing jacket
periodically, using products made specifi-
cally for this purpose that you can find in
the SEAC Diving Pro accessory line.
8. At the end of a particularly intense sea-
son, or at least following a long period of
inactivity, it is sound practice to leave the
equipment with an authorized laboratory
for a complete check. We recommend
that you contact your regular retail store
that will be able to give you better infor-
mation concerning faster and safe sys-
tems to carry out annual revisions.
