The Load Leg is an effective safety feature of the
Sirona S. Using it is strongly recommended.
If ALL INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS for the
Load Leg CANNOT BE MET, you MUST choose
another seating position or install the Restraint
with the Load Leg stored (folded underneath).
When installing with the Load Leg stored, see page
46 for proper use of the Overhang Indicator.
INSTALL the Restraint in a seating position that will
allow the Load Leg to be extended into a
position
and have
firm contact with the vehicle
floor
(see page 44).
Many vehicles have a hump in the floor that could
cause the Load Leg, even in its shortest position,
to push the Base off the vehicle seat. NEVER
INSTALL the Restraint in a seating position where
the Load Leg, even in its shortest position, causes
the
Base to be pushed off the vehicle

LOAD LEG

DEATH or SERIOUS INJURY can occur
