3) OPERATION

The heat emitter is fitted with a programmable daily chronothermostat that controls and regulates its heating.
Its heat sensor can be used in two ways, manual or automatic and it includes a daily timer programmer for each day of the week.
For regulation purposes, there are two heating temperatures, comfort and economic temperatures.
The first is the desired temperature when the room is occupied. The economic temperature is the maintenance temperature for when the room is
empty. The latter prevents the room temperature from dropping too low when the room is not occupied (it is recommended that this temperature is
not set above 18ºC).

3.1. USING IN MANUAL MODE
1)
Connect the emitter to mains power by plugging it into a wall socket. Turn it on using the switch at the rear.
2)
The LCD screen will come on and all the symbols will flash several times. The LCD screen will then display the current room temperature.

Press the "Stand-by" button to switch the appliance on (Figure 6).
4)
Enable manual mode by pressing the "PROG" button until the time band lines are no longer shown on the LCD screen.

Press the button for the desired heating mode, comfort
Use the "+" or "–" buttons to select the desired temperature. The temperature will flash while it is being adjusted and will cease to do so when the
adjustment is finished. The LCD screen will once again display the current room temperature after a few seconds.
6)
The factory-set temperatures are: 22ºC comfort, 18ºC economy and 7ºC anti-freeze temperature.
7)
If the newly set temperature is higher than the current room temperature then the emitter will commence heating (the flame symbol will flash).
The flame symbol will remain while the heat emitter is producing heat. The appliance will stop heating when the room reaches the set temperature.
8)
Press the "Stand-by" button to turn the heating function off. The entire appliance can be turned off by the rear On/Off switch.
3.2. BLOCKING / UNBLOCKING
The emitter can be blocked / unblocked by simultaneously pressing the "+" and "-", for at least three seconds.

3.3 USING IN PROGRAMMED MODE
Your heat emitter incorporates a factory-set heating programme. It may be used if so desired.
If this programme does not adapt to your needs, it can be specifically programmed. This is accomplished by following the steps below.
1)
Programming mode is activated for the first time or when the programme is to be modified, by plugging the appliance into a mains socket,
turning on the rear switch and pressing the "Stand-by" button.
2)
Press "PROG" (Figure 6) to enter automatic mode. The four clock digits will appear.
First, the "00" indicating the hours will flash. Use the "+" and "-" to set the current time. Then, press "PROG" to set the minutes.
3)
Then press, "PROG" again to enter the day of the week, which is displayed as a number, "1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7".
