Adjusting
the Seat
Toadjustthe positionof the seat,pull up and hold the seatadjustment
lever.Slidethe seat forwardor rearwardto the desiredposition;then
releasethe adjustmentlever.Makesureseat is lockedinto position
beforeoperatingthe riding mower.See Figure8.

NOTE: Yourriding moweris shippedwith oil inthe engine.However,
you MUSTcheckthe oil levelbeforeoperating.

Placethe riding moweron a flat,levelsurface.
2.
Removethe oil filler cap/dipstickand wipe thedipstickclean. See
Figure9.

Insertthe cap/dipstickintothe oil fillerneck,but do notscrewit in.

Removethe oil filler cap/dipstick.If thelevelis low,slowlyadd oil
until oil levelregistersbetweenfull (F) and low (L), Figure9.
NOTE: Do notoverfill.Overfillingwith oil may causesmoking,hard
starting,or spark plugfouling.
5.
Replaceand tightencap/dipstickfirmlybeforestartingengine.
NOTE: DO NOTallowoil levelto fall belowthe "L"markon the
dipstick.Doingso may resultinequipmentmalfunctions or damage.
